Consular Seal

This seal bears the inscription: “Vice-Consulat du Duche D’Anhalt á Bruxelles” elegantly carved in roman capital letters around a multi-quartered achievement of arms topped with a ducal crown and backed with an ermine mantle.

This seal is a jewelry-quality casting in bronze from the original seal, and the wood handle is turned in beautiful and incredibly durable black walnut, lightly finished. The original seal is an antique from the nineteenth century, hand-engraved in steel.
